Privacy: summary

This page is a summary. The full and binding version of Taply's privacy policy is at gettaply.com/en/privacy-policy; if anything here seems to contradict it, the full text prevails.
What data Taply handles
Taply handles three groups of information. First, your account data: the name and email provided by the authentication provider you log in with, plus an internal identifier for your business. Authentication is processed by Stytch on our behalf and Taply does not store your password. Second, the information you add for your agent: hours, services, replies, rules, automations, the private files you upload (documents and images) and the WhatsApp templates you create. Third, the conversations your agent handles on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, your Google Business listing and your website chat, and the contact details of the people who write to you.
What it is used for
To run your agent: reply with your information, share your files, check availability and hand the conversation to someone on your team when that is the right thing to do. Also to operate and secure the service. We do not sell your business data or your customers' data.
Google Calendar
The Google Calendar integration is optional: Taply checks whether a slot is free or busy and, in the calendar you choose for booking, creates, modifies or cancels the appointments your agent books, always with the customer's confirmation. It does not read from or write to any other calendar. You can disconnect it whenever you want from your Google Account or from the dashboard. The use of that data is governed by the Google API Services limited use policy, described in the full policy.
Your rights and contact
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data by writing to contact@gettaply.com, the same address published in the full policy. There you will also find the detail of who the information is shared with, how it is protected, how long it is kept, what is stored in the browser and how changes to the policy are announced.
